On January 15, 2025, Vice President Cai, USST, together with Liu Qin, Dean of the College of Foreign Languages (CFL), received Professor WANG Tao, Acting Deputy Dean of the School of Business at Queens College, CUNY.
Vice President Cai extended a warm welcome to Prof. Wang and reviewed the nearly three-decade partnership between the two universities. She emphasized that against the backdrop of increasing globalization in education, there remains plenty of space for further collaboration. Though great achievements has been made, she expressed hopes to deepen ties in academic exchanges, faculty visits and exchange student programs, and other areas to foster mutual growth.
Prof. Wang expressed gratitude for the hospitality he received and highlighted Queens College’s recent accomplishments in internationalization, particularly its strategic priorities for global academic partnerships and collaborative programs. He remarked Queens College has been dedicated to international cooperation and expressed the hope to explore new possibilities in cooperation for shared success with USST.
The meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, explored future collaborative opportunities. Both sides acknowledged the longstanding, close, and fruitful relationship between two institutions. They pledged to create more opportunities and benefits for the faculty and students. This visit strengthened the partnership between the two universities, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration in broader fields in the future.
