To align with industry needs, to identify more internship and employment opportunities suited for Japanese majors, and to build a high-quality employment platform for graduates, the faculty members and students from the Japanese Department of CFL visited Long'ai Group on June 18. The visit was led by Professor Yang Benming, Head of the Japanese Department.
During the forum, Zhang Tinghe, President of Long'ai Group, introduced to the visitors the company's development history, business scope, corporate culture, and recruitment requirements. President Zhang informed the guests that with the company's recent expansion in such fields as innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and exhibition services, there is a great need for versatile talents with practical business skills and cross-cultural communication competencies. He expressed his hope to secure a long-term, stable collaborative relationship with the college. Professor Yang Benming elaborated on the department's current development, faculty expertise, and curriculum setup, highlighting the outstanding achievements of students in speech contests, translation competitions, and cross-cultural exchange activities. Both parties engaged in an in-depth discussion covering internship arrangements, career development planning, and industry trends.
Following in-depth discussions, both parties reached a consensus on collaboration in several areas, which culminated in the signing ceremony for the “Internship and Recruitment” Base between the Japanese Department and Long'ai Group. The agreement is to establish an extensive platform for student internships, employment, academic development, and scientific research. This initiative has not only broadened the career channels for Japanese majors but has also laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation between the two parties in talent cultivation and research innovation.
