Great Achievements in the International Translation Competition Made by the Students of the Japanese Department of Our College

  Recently, Golden Age-The 2nd "CC Cup" Chinese Culture International Translation Contest, sponsored by the Bilingual Research Association of Chinese Pre-Qin History, Beijing Language and Culture University and Henan University, organized by Shanghai Shiyu Translation Group and Foreign Languages College of Henan University, and co-sponsored by more than 150 universities and enterprises around the world, has completed the evaluation work and announced the winning award list for the translation event. There are two major events in this competition: translation and interpretation. A total of 15,153 people from 486 universities, enterprises and institutions all over the world took part in the competition.

  In this competition, the undergraduate students from the Japanese Department of our college have made great achievements. Among them, Lin Qiuhui, under the guidance of Teacher Liu Man, won the first prize in the translation event from Japanese to Chinese; Chen Yiwei, under the guidance of Teacher Mao Wei and Teacher Fukui Youjie, won the third prize in the translation event from Chinese to Japanese.

  The success could not have been achieved without the guidance of promoting the teaching development through competition, the school running policy of the Japanese Department. In recent years, students from the Japanese Department have actively participated in various competitions and achieved excellent results. This is the result of hard work of both by the students and teachers in the Japanese Department.
