The final of the 25th 'FLTRP·ETIC Cup' National English Debating Competition, organized by Department of English (Sino-US Cooperation) of CFL, ended on the afternoon of February 28th. After the primary selection, a total of 8 contestants advanced to the campus-levelselection final. Shen Xietian, Wang Chen and Xu Yue from the English Department (Sino-US Cooperation) served as the field judges. Ding Chenyue and Shi Xiyue, two students from the English Department (Sino-US cooperation) provided technical support services for the trail. After fierce competition, the referee group finally determined the final ranking of the four teams and the attribution of several individual awards. The specific list of winners is as follows:
1. Champion: Shen Jingying, Sun Jiaming
2. Second-Place: Mai Yuxuan, Li Yuanyuan
3. Third-Place: (1) Jiangshang Gerile, Chen Jiawei; (2) Bao Zongqi, Guo Qianqiu
4. Best Debater: Jiangshang Gerile, Mai Yuxuan, Shen Jingying, Sun Jiaming
The USST Representative Team selected from this competition will strive to display its aptitude and style in the Easernt China semi-final held in April the National final held in June so as to contribute to the high-level development of English language teaching in USST.
