A delegation of CFL led by Vice Dean Han Geling went to Xi 'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi' an University of Technology and Xi'an International Studies University to carry out enrollment publicity and study research from May 24-26.
On May 24th, the delegation came to Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology (XUAT) to publicize the enrollment policies of CFL’s graduate students in Foreign Languages and Literatures and MTI to English major undergraduatesfrom XUAT’s College of Humanities. The students werehighly interested in CFL, USST andconsulted questions related to the postgraduate entrance examination to the three teachers.

On May 25th, Vice Dean Han Geling, Associate Professor Jiang Cheng and counselor Liang Zuojia visited the School of Humanities and Foreign Languages (SHFL) of Xi'an University of Technology (XUT). Party Secretary and Dean Yang Wenxuan, Vice Dean Zhang Jie, Mr.Liu Minye, Director of the Office of SHFL, Mr. Liu Zhongyang, Head of the English Department and Mr.Zhong, Party Secretary of the Japanese Department, warmly received the delegation and had a cordial discussion. Dean Yang Wenxuan introduced the general situation of SHFL, and Vice President Zhang Jie introduced the situation of graduate education in detail. Han Geling introduced the graduate majors and talent training of the CFL, USST. According to schedule, the delegation then came to Xi'an International Studies University (XISU) for research, and Vice Dean Han Geling had a cordial talk with XISU Vice President, Professor Dang Sheng. Afterwards, Professor Chen Weiguo, Executive Dean of Graduate Institute of Interpretation and Translation, introduced the talent development orientation, discipline construction, talent training, scientific research and other details of the MTI major, focusing on the college-enterprise cooperation teaching mode and related achievements. The two sides had an in-depth exchanges on training plan, classified training, curriculum system, practical links, dissertation evaluation, and discussed the problems and solutions in translation teaching and discipline construction. The two sides also reached an agreement on strengthening academic exchanges and promoting cooperative research, saying that they would continue to deepen cooperation in the future and jointly explore the innovation and development of translation education and discipline construction. Vice Dean Han Goling and the delegationthen visited the National Translation Practice Education Base and the Silk Road Language Service Collaborative Innovation Center.
