CFL Leaders Visited Li Daoyu and other Alumni

March 24-25,CFL leaders made a special trip to Beijing to visit Li Daoyu and other outstanding alumni. Li is a famous diplomat, national 'outstanding contributors to diplomatic work', outstanding alumnus of the English Department of USST (formerly Hujiang University), and also a special consultant of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Institute of Public Diplomacy.The delegation also held a symposium with representatives of Being alumni.


Li Daoyu kindly shared his personal story of studying in the Hujiang campus and the process of embarking on the diplomatic road, and was happy to learn that  in his alma materhad made great progress. He also eagerly asked about CFL in terms of discipline construction, professional setting, etc. He was also very concerned about the Shanghai Institute of Public Diplomacy, and made valuable suggestions for the development of the College and the Institute.

The delegation also visited Ma Chuanfu, deputy general manager of CITIC Myanmar, Lin Jiangang, general manager of the brand enterprise communication division of IBM Greater China, and Da Mu, international business director of songyi Workshop (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd., and other outstanding alumni and alumni enterprises. The alumni talked about their past campus life and the current business situation. Dean Liu Qin introduced the development of the college's professional structure, Sino-foreign cooperation projects, teaching staff, Shanghai Institute of Public Diplomacy and social services in recent years, and made return visits to alumni in terms of professional construction and curriculum optimization, hoping to strengthen cooperation in foreign language compound talent training and internship practice.

The alumni said that they will continue to care about and support their alma mater. In the future, they will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between USST and their enterprises, build a professional talent training platform, seek common development for their alma mater, and make greater contributions to national construction.

While in Beijing, the leaders of the college also visited Huang Junyi, a female  student from CFL who was recruited into the army, and sent her care and comfort from the college.
