On the morning of June 2, CFL Party Secretary Qu Deqiang,Dean Liu Qin, and Deputy Party Secretary Jin Xiaodong, led a team to visit Zhang Li, Head of the Shanghai Translation Center of Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., and Li Xiaochun, a graduate alumnus of CFL and senior translator of Huawei Translation Center. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on university-enterprise cooperation, joint courses and internship bases.
First of all, Dean Liu Qin briefed situations in student training and double-type teacher training. CFL plans to carry out curriculum reform, invite enterprise representatives to the university to carry out learning habits training courses and short-semester internship practical courses, and integrate the universityl-enterprise cooperation into the process of student training. At the same time, the college plans to promote technical cooperation with enterprises on Shanghai industry-study-research projects, carry out horizontal topics, cooperative translation projects, etc., and explore more ways in teacher training.
Then, Secretary Qu Deqiang learned about the specific recruitment positions and screening methods from the company on student employment and internships, hoping that students will have more opportunities to visit, study and practice in Huawei.
Zhang Li, head of the Translation Center in Shanghai, and Li Xiaochun, a CFL alumnus, expressed great support for the integration of enterprise representatives into student teaching, and also have a certain intention to carry out technical cooperation between universities and enterprises. The two sides hope to carry out substantive cooperation in teaching, scientific research, faculty, innovation, industry-study-research and student internship on the principles of win-win cooperation and mutual benefits.
