The new journey of the 117th year, the new voyage of the USST. On September 2nd, the graduate student orientation kicked off at the Foreign Language Building. As early as at 7:00 AM, the counselors and student cadres from the College of Foreign Languages Graduate Student Association arrived at the Foreign Language Building to prepare for the orientation.

At 8:00 AM, the newly-enrolled students began their registration. Guided by volunteers from the College of Foreign Languages Graduate Student Association, the studentswent through the procedures in an orderly manner by presenting their ID cards, admission letters, degree certificates and undergraduate diplomas.

After registation, the students signed their names on the sign-in board, officially beginning their journey with the USST.

At 1:00 PM, Sheng Chun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, came to the scene to inspect the registration process. He extended his appreciation to the faculty and students working for their efforts in the orientation. Additionally, for the safety and rights of the newly enrolled students, the university leaders emphasized the significance of protecting personal information and preventing internet fraud. They reminded every student to stay vigilant and work together for campus security.

By 6:00 PM, all of the 114 newly enrolled students had finished the registration. Thanks to the joint efforts of college leaders, teachers and students, the orientation for the 2023 graduate students was a success. A new journey has begun, it is hoped that all students will seize the day and live it to the fullest.
