On June 26th , the delegation led by Qu Deqiang, Secretary of the School of Foreign Languages Party Committee, along with the Dean, Liu Qin, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Jin Xiaodong, visited the distinguished alumnus, Ma Chong, who is the General Manager of Wuxi Jinqiao Education Group. The visit primarily focused on exchanging thoughts regarding educational philosophies, partner initiatives, and future internships for our students.
Ma Chong, an outstanding graduate of 2000, a finance and investment major in our international joint program at the College of Foreign Languages, has maintained a keen interest in the development of our college and the growth of fellow alumni. Together with other alumni, suc as Li Zhen, they established the 'Si Yuan Alumni Scholarship', which, for over two decades, has continuously inspired and motivated our students not only to achieve success but also to remember their roots and make meaningful contributions to society and their alma mater.
Founded in April 2000, Wuxi Jinqiao Education Group (WJEG), a private educational institution, were mainly engaged inpreschool, primary and secondary education, as well as extracurricular training.
Adhering to the philosophy of 'Education as Service,' the group emphasizes high-qualityinternationalized education with unique features. It currently manages eleven educational related legal entities and a public kindergarten.
With over 12,000 full-time students and more than 1,200 members of staff and crew, WJEG was a dominant player in Wuxi's private education sector.
During the meeting, Ma Chong elaborated on the profile of the Jinqiao Education Group, encompassing curriculum development, faculty training etc, Dean Liu Qin presented to the host the latest enrollment scale, faculty qualifications, and disciplinary development at the College of Foreign Languages.
Both parties also engaged in discussions on the career development of the faculty, fostering more efficient educational models, and advanced educational paradigms.They also planned to embark on furthercooperations tobosst bilingual education research and integrate foreign language talents with the job market.
Upon the conclusion of the discussions, Ma Chong presented the guests with a symbolic memento from the Jinqiao Education Group, named 'Aspiration'. he also expressed his sincere hope that we could make together so that the alma mater would have a prosperous and bright future.
