The finals of the 13th 'CRA' National College Market Survey and Analysis Competition were held at Tianjin University of Finance and Economics from May 27th to 28th.
The research project led by Zhu Yijun, a junior major in English (Sino-US joint program, won the national first prize,a record setting achievement in the relevant competition field at USST.Moreover, the research report ,penned by Zhu Yijun ,was adopted by the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission.One of the most authoritative events in the domestic statistics field, the National College Market Survey and Analysis Competitionhas been held for 13 consecutive years, with over 630,000 participants from more than 1,800 educational institutions.
This event has been ranked in the top 20 of the 'National General Higher Education Discipline Competition List' for five years in a row, making it a nationally renowned non-profit professional brand. A Class A national event, the competition is a platform guiding academic development, wining support and acknowledgement from the government and enterprises. it is also a platform for participants from the mainland, Taiwai , Hong Kong and Macao to engage in high-level cooperation.
The team participating in this competition was a cross-disciplinary one led by the student Zhu Yijun, with students from the Business School, and the School of Communication and Art Design.Faculty members from the Business School and College of Foreign Languagesmade concerted efforts to groom the team for the competition. after four months of preparation, the team survived the rounds of campus, municipal, and provincial competitions.
Ultimately, the team won the highest honor in the competition with its innovative topics, meticulous survey, and a captivating presentation.Over the years, as always, the Sino-U.S joint program hasemphasized the cultivation of students' comprehensive cultural capabilites,sacrificed no effort to boost the training of innovative talents, and encouraged and guided students to participate in various competitions at all levels. This approach aligns with the department's commitment to promoting learning through competition as part of the 'second classroom' initiative.
The accomplishments in various national A-level competitions reflect the department's ongoing exploration and achievements in cultivating comprehensive and innovative talents.
