On June 7th, our college held a presentation for the joint undergraduate dual-degree program with Queens College, City University of New York. During the presentation, Professor Tao Wang, the American head of the program and the deputy dean of the Economics Department of Queens College, introduced to all the participants the program in detail. Students of the class 2023 English (Sino-US Joint Program) major actively participated in the event.

Professor Tao Wang gave an in-depth presentation, introducing the strengths of the Queens College, its curriculum plans, program fees, and academic and application requirements. He also shared his work and life experiences in the Queens Borough of New York, encouraging students to actively expand their horizons and plan for their futures by taking advantage of overseas opportunities. After the presentation, Professor Tao Wang met with the class of 2022 who were about to enroll in the program at Queens College, patiently answering their questions.

Queens College, known as the 'Pearl of the City University', is renowned for its outstanding liberal arts, science, and professional preparatory courses, and ranks among the top in the 'Most Valuable Colleges in America' by The Princeton Review. This presentation provides students with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of this excellent institution, and is expected to further promote friendly exchanges between the two universities.

Since 2017, our college has been cooperating with Queens College of the City University of New York to organize a joint undergraduate dual-degree program. In September of the same year, the first batch of students majoring in English (Sino-US joint program) went to the United States for study. So far, the program has enrolled six batches of students, and the first five batches of students have graduated smoothly with excellent results and have been admitted to many well-known overseas universities to pursue their master's degrees, such as Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, New York University, and York University. The successful holding of this presentation once again demonstrates the deep foundation and broad prospects of cooperation between the two universities.
