On July 17th, Kate Pechenkina, Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Business at Queens College, City University of New York, visited our college. Dean Liu Qin received Dean Kate and had a friendly and in-depth exchange in a warm atmosphere.
At the meeting, Dean Liu Qin provided a brief introduction to Dean Kate about the major disciplines and departments of our college, as well as the employment situation of students. Both parties focused on the Sino-U.S joint education program between the two universities and engaged in detailed discussions. They explored the specific content, implementation details, and potential for future further cooperation, and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in student exchanges, visiting scholar project, and TESOL collaboration. Dean Liu Qin emphasized that deepening cooperation could provide students with a broader international perspective and practical opportunities, further enhancing the educational quality and academic influence of both sides. Dean Kate expressed confidence in the prospects of cooperation between the two universities and stated that she would actively promote the implementation of the projects and collaborate with other colleges at Queens College to explore new possibilities for cooperation with our college.
